Advisory Committee
Fortune School of Education (FSE) recruits and maintains a strong and diverse Advisory Committee.
The Advisory Committee’s advice contributes substantively to the design, implementation, quality and effectiveness of FSE’s programs. Areas of discussion and advice include, but are not limited to:
- Continuous improvement system;
- Program quality;
- Recruitment, selection, and advisement;
- Curriculum development;
- Delivery of instruction;
- Assessments and verification of candidate competence;
- Field experiences and partnerships;
- Design of field experiences;
- Selection and preparation of field experience supervisors.
FSE’s leadership selects seven (7) Advisory Committee members, each with background education and/or substantial professional experience related to at least one of the programs offered by FSE.
The Advisory Committee meets regularly three (3) times a year. Dates and times are proposed by the Dean and decided by members.
Membership in the Advisory Committee lasts for two years and may be renewed twice.
