Pre-Service

Pre-Service, a robust  “boot camp” of 170 hours, covers classroom management, teaching reading and writing, and field experience. It also offers 30 hours of discipline-specific courses and 45 hours of preparation to teach English learners.

After completing Pre-Service and meeting all requirements, including securing a position as the teacher of record in one of our school district partners, candidates join the two-year District Intern Program.
