PLO 1: Equity-Driven, High-Rigor Instructional & Organizational Leadership
Analyze how social and institutional inequities affect classroom learning and student engagement. Develop and apply high-impact, inclusive practices that promote excellence, equity, and empowerment for diverse participants in a professional environment.
PLO 2: Scholarly Communication, Research Fluency, and Evidence-Based Practice
Demonstrate advanced scholarly communication and evidence-based research proficiency by producing clear, purposeful writing, presentations, and inquiry-driven analyses that connect theory, research, and professional practice in educational settings. Investigate problems of practice using rigorous methodologies and implement innovative, equity-driven solutions that strengthen educational outcomes.
PLO 3: Globalization, Migration, and Educational Access
Examine how globalization, migration, displacement, and human rights discourse influence educational access, policy, and opportunities across local and global contexts. Evaluate the experiences of multilingual, international, and historically underserved learners to design inclusive, culturally responsive environments that affirm students’ identities and promote belonging.
PLO 4: Reflective Scholar-Practitioner Integration through Capstone & Practicum
Integrate theory, research, and field-based experience through a sustained practicum and capstone sequence that applies learning to authentic educational challenges. Demonstrate reflective practice, ethical judgment, and justice-oriented leadership by creating applied projects and research that address inequities and expand pathways to student success.

Notice to Prospective Degree Program Students
The Bureau provisionally approves this institution for Private Postsecondary Education to offer degree programs. To continue to offer this degree program, this institution must meet the following requirements:
- Become institutionally accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education, with the scope of the accreditation covering at least one degree program.
- Achieve accreditation candidacy or pre-accreditation, as defined in regulations, by October 25, 2024, and full accreditation by October 25, 2027.
If this institution stops pursuing accreditation, the following will happen:
- The institution must stop all enrollment in its degree programs, and
- Provide a teach-out to finish the educational program or provide a refund. An institution that fails to comply with accreditation requirements by the required dates shall have its approval to offer degree programs automatically suspended.
Rex & Margaret Fortune School of Education has applied for Eligibility from the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). WSCUC has reviewed the application and determined that the institution is eligible to proceed with an Application for Accreditation. A determination of Eligibility is not a formal status with the WASC Senior College and University Commission, nor does it ensure eventual accreditation. It is a preliminary finding that the institution is potentially accreditable and can proceed within five years of its Eligibility determination to be reviewed for Candidacy or Initial Accreditation status with the Commission.
